After watching the premiere of Maryland Twisters, does anyone else agree that Odyssey and Starlites have lost a bit of their spark? And it seems that F5 and Supercells have totally picked it up. Looks like World Cup is missing an Angel, badly.

Battle of the Lg Seniors

Now that F5 has arrived, what are your thoughts on this division? Who do you think is going to be number 1? Shooting Stars with their 11 doubles to the corner? F5 with their comeback year? or Cheer Extreme with their tick tick tocks?

F5's Dance

Word on the mat is that F5 will be premiering a new dance to Beyonce's "Single Ladies" later in the season! These ladies are definitely looking for their rings this year!

Top Gun Large Coed - 09

Well everyone, today Top Gun had their showcase to debut all of their routines to the world. I guess they figured since they have no real competition since everyone is going medium coed, and international, lets go full out! Here are ALL the details!!

Opening - 7 toe fulls and then like 5 behind them just stand up for the standing fulls. A quick transition and then four guys in the front start walking backwards into standing doubles! There is a kid in the middle that does standing double two to double double....Yes children - standing double to two to double double! Those 5 guys that did standing doubles then tumble from front to back - two to double - doubles together! 7 two to doubles go from side to side - and then this crazy pass comes from the corner...something like front handspring front layout half - layout step out double - his hands only touch the ground for the front handspring. 7 two to whip doubles come from the back and then the whole team start transitioning to the stunts...as they transition - the crazy kid in the middle goes at it again with - Round off - double - full - double.

Stunt - 11 groups that start off like a reverse arabasque. Full around to a partner stunt chair. Tick tock up to stretch - bow - straight leg - scorpion. Kick through to front stretches - the front 5 groups half press and they all hit arabasques together then double down.

Anyone want to guess what's next??? Jumps DUH! It's a top gun routine! It's creative - lots of girls flying through the air - over people - and then (A large coed FIRST) double toe backtucks by most of the squad!

Tumbling is next - another creative opening to tumbling when two guys from the front and back corner - tumble at each other (round off arabian cartwheel) and meet up with two guys standing in the middle of the floor and do carthweels over each other to doubles in all 4 corners! There are other elite passes and then they do another suicide thing where like 14 guys all do punch fronts across the floor at each other. HERE IT IS - the highlight of the year - 4 guys come from each corner of the floor and tumble at each other ( round off arabian - round off back hand spring ) and they are caught in cradles by groups in each corner. The catch is this - before they are caught, there is a girl that is in a stunt while the guys are in the back handspring and acts like a jumprope and swings under the guys just before they get caught. After they are caught the guys tumbling out of the groups and land in doubles. Pretty much after that - at worlds - the crowd will be crazy - jumping up and down and the rest of the routine will be a blur.

Baskets are next - all kick doubles - and then pyramid - show and go this - full up that - fly over here - fly over there - straddle sit here - layout cradles...and then the dance. Lots of floor work and a fun ending.

Every year they step up their game and I think that everyone will be very impressed with this routine. California allstars will definately give them a run - but I think that all they have to do is hit, and once again - grand champs at NCA and highest score at Worlds, with F5 close in trail!!
